Computacenter is a leading European independent provider of IT infrastructure services. We help our customers maximise the value of IT by advising on IT strategy, deploying and integrating appropriate technologies, and managing elements of their infrastructures on their behalf. At every stage we help them minimise the cost and maximise the business value of their IT expenditure.
Our corporate and government clients are served by a network of branch offices across the UK, Germany, France and Benelux and, through our international partners, at locations across the globe.
What we do
Formed in 1981 by British Harvard graduates Philip Hulme and Peter Ogden, Computacenter today has over 9,000 employees across Europe and Group revenues of over £2.2 billion. Our business activity falls into the broad categories of infrastructure services and product supply.

Through our subsidiary RDC, we help customers manage their IT disposals according to computer waste legislation and maximise the return to their organisations through the resale or remarketing of their technology.

Hardware
We source the most appropriate and cost-effective technology from a wide portfolio of leading vendors, and configure and deploy it according to our customers’ requirements.
Software
We provide a range of software licensing services, including procurement consulting, sourcing from leading vendors and asset management services.
Trade Distribution
Through CCD, our trade distribution division, we provide resellers with hardware, software and technology configuration and deployment services.
What makes us different
Computacenter works through the IT department, not around them. We act as a partner to IT departments - supplementing them, where necessary, with specialist skills, resources and experience.
We are vendor independent, with no vested interest in any one manufacturer or technology platform, but with the highest levels of vendor accreditations, skills and experience across all major infrastructure technology.
